The Khmer house is an open plan structure built in the 1940s. Saved from destruction at its former location, miles away from the property, it was delicately dismantled and faithfully restored. As traditional Cambodian wooden house on stilts, the structure has an open living area on the ground level and a large, air-conditioned bedroom space with a modern bathroom on the second level.
The pieces of antique furniture are the most refined of the entire property: a 1930s children’s bed that has been turned into a couch, the tripod mahogany armchairs and the striking Art Deco table are a precious testimony of what could once be made in 1930s Cambodian wooden workshops. It is an intimate heaven for couples but can also host a young family with the addition of extra beds.

This is a wonderful haven. It has authentic and stylish accommodation in a peaceful garden setting. The staff, led by the incomparable Francis, are charming, knowledge and helpful. The Green Room where we stayed was unpretentious and stylish. Thoroughly recommended.
